Blessed Girl Scout Cookie Season Is Upon Us 

It’s January, the worst month of the year. But at least you can begin ordering Girl Scout cookies!

Girl Scouts of the USA reminded us all today that cookie season has officially launched, so you can begin frantically racking your brain for anybody you know who knows somebody who knows a Girl Scout.

The new cookie, caramel chocolate chip, features “rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips, and a hint of sea salt in a chewy, gluten-free cookie,” according to the announcement from the Girl Scouts. This is in fact their second gluten-free cookie, the announcement informs us, “joining the Toffee-tastic® cookie, introduced in 2015, a rich, buttery gluten-free cookie with sweet, crunchy, golden toffee bits.”

However, “Each gluten-free variety is offered in select Girl Scout council markets only for as long as supplies last.” Fortunately, you don’t have to be so proactive for the classics, and you can do like the Jezebel staff did last year and wait until they do public sales and then, after some frantic research, send two coworkers to an Eileen Fisher in the Flatiron area inexplicably hosting some Girl Scouts. Whatever it takes!
