Beyoncé Wants You To 'Get Going' In a Toyota in Her Latest Commercial

Everyone wants Beyoncé to endorse their products—like Toyota, naturally!

This commercial for Yonce’s campaign to be my imaginary best friend for life Toyota feature a younger incarnations of the star, while she dreamily describes how you should take a cue from her and “Get Going.”

“I had a choice: to stand still or move forward. To let things happen, or to make things happen. Everyday I wake up, I make a choice not to let the world decide for me; I decide for me. I decide to get going.”

Get going—down to a Toyota dealership and buy a new Camry!

I believe a lot of things about Beyoncé—she has a flawless voice, she always wakes up like this, she was created by a race of super-human alien beings from another galaxy who brought her here to jump start human evolution onto a more beautiful path (that one is a bit controversial) and she’s a good mom. But I’m not quite sure I believe she’s all that into driving a Toyota.

But that’s OK. I drive a Toyota and I’m willing to suspend my disbelief for a little while and imagine that Queen Bey likes Toyota for the same reason I do—it’s a sensible car at a decent price. Plus, the cup holder is a good size. Maybe she has days where she’s standing in the driveway of her massive estate, staring at a long line of Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Rolls-Royces and thinks no, no. Today I’m taking the Corolla.
