Robyn is launching a tech festival for young women called Tekla. The only problem is that it's happening in Sweden, so book your flight now.

Did you know Robyn won a tech award from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2013? Dope. Tekla—which takes place in Stockholm on April 18—is in partnership with KTH, as well as companies like Spotify and Google.

The festival is aimed at young women ages 11 to 18. Robyn says (per the translated version of the press release):

"I thought of KTH's motto 'Science and Art' and wanted to do something to inspire girls who are curious about technology, also highlighting that too few women seek to KTH programs. Tekla [is] a festival for girls in which they will get to try on different areas of future technology in what I believe will be a fun and imaginative environment."

KTH's Sophia Hober adds:

"We will highlight female role models in technology and give more girls the opportunity to find what they want and make use of technology. In the long term, we hope that Tekla may increase the recruitment of women to technical education."

So yeah, go Robyn. Let's show her love.
