Like I noted above, using something like dexamethasone on a covid patient who isn’t severely or critically ill can actually work against their recovery as the drug might suppress their immune system’s ability to fight the virus. I know better than to respond in good faith to someone who doesn’t demonstrate the same courtesy to me, but I believe it’s clear from the context of my comment that I was referring to long-term side effects—not temporary, normal side effects that only last for a couple days whenever I resume taking PrEP.

Yep! I figured. Like I said, I haven’t experienced any long-term side effects, so I don’t have anything to add on that front, and I’m not informed enough about them to weigh in.
