I spend the winter typing in fingerless gloves, and I often have to haul them out in the summer. I have Reynauds, and the long-term damage from the persistent cold in my office is a real fear. My old boss once saw me drop a ream of paper when my hands seized up, and she finally understood my pain. But our building is Read more

That is a scary old photo. Taylor’s old nose, and Nikki’s old stylist. I am always amazed by how lovely Nikki is now. Her makeup is still exaggerated, but it really enhances her features and her eyes are expressive, and she doesn't let her makeup out shadow her own personality. She is someone who will evolve into a Read more

We hosted a friend of my niece for a week, and Porch Kitty was all over her. Just doesn’t trust us at all. She has terrible teeth from her time on the streets, and lost a tooth today. We are not sure how we will get her into the carrier for her trip to the vet. I may have to call the girl just to come over and catch Read more

We are cat sitting for a friend this week. She adopted a cat from the shelter about a month ago, and she’s still skitters. Tansy will barely let me look at her, but she let my daughter pet her and snuggle. I might have a little cat whisperer. Read more

Our Porch Kitty was obviously abused before she came to us. Took us four cold months to lure her inside. She is still nervous around adults, but I often find her in my daughter’s room, sitting on the spare bed, just hanging out. My daughter can pet her, but she scoots away from the rest of us. He just blurted it out at dinner in a restaurant about halfway in. He was nervous to tell her, and she was casually dismissive because someone was talking about feelings that weren’t hers, dammit, and she really feels important thoughts. Read more

She said several times she was afraid to speak to him, because he flew off the handle at every slight and she just wanted peace. And when she did speak up (the closet-hogging situation) he just flat out ignored her and did what he wanted. If she had pushed him on it, she would probably be hanging in the closet next to Read more

It’s also on A&E, but I think it is a bit shorter. But it’ll get you through naptime. Read more

I am so glad they caught him on a live mike. I thought it was odd that their two biggest fights (her tattoos are trashy, he took $100 in wedding money) were not on tape. They can’t turn around without bumping into a camera crew, but he managed to do sneaky things and then accuse her of making things up and playing the Read more
