Everyone should get to 1937 and see this movie right now. Or, you know, grab a collection of Thin Man movie discs on the cheap at an online retailer of your choice. These two are magic together onscreen and the writing is superb.

Man, I need to finally watch “The Thin Man”. I am a crossword nut and have written “Asta” too many times not to see that (presumably cute) dog on celluloid.

Sad that this theater closed in 2012, and nothing has gone into its space. It was known as the Harvard Square Theater in recent decades; the front lobby was turned into shops and the stage and balcony were divided off into smaller theaters, but you could still see how grand it used to be. I have to agree with most other commenters at this point- the Thin Man films ruullllle but I’d definitely go see Cafe Metropole because melikes myself some Tyrone Power once in a while, especially when there’s a/c.
