Wow, J. Crew decided to give their models a very distinct look this season. She must be easy to spot in a crowd: "Hey, have you guys seen Amanda? She's tall, cute — you know, she's got that crazy checkered hair."

J. Crew is doing a good job in pepping up it's design and color selection after a few drab years. However, their pricing is still as expensive as ever.

Their shoes are over the top though. They routinely have $200-$300 shoes! I don't know if the quality is worth it (since I don't buy their shoes), but I just don't see how they justify charging that much when there are other comparable brands that sell for less. You can get better "labels/designers" for that amount.
