Area Woman's Cell Phone Case Accurate

While arriving at her Manhattan apartment Thursday, model Gigi Hadid was spotted carrying an iPhone in a case that reads, “Social Media seriously harms your mental health.” As someone who compulsively checks their social media accounts several times an hour and who frequently becomes dangerously obsessed with the accounts of others, I must say: that case ain’t wrong.

Perhaps I should put a similar case—or sticker, whatever it is—on my own phone as a gentle way of reminding me that I don’t have to send that tweet, post that photo, share my location with friends, comment on that story, or watch the Instagram stories of people who bother me and screengrab them for future reference. Perhaps I should just listen to Gigi Hadid and stay off the platforms that are affecting my health and productivity. Perhaps I should just live as she does all the time.

Ugh. I feel better. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go break up with my boyfriend Zayn Malik.
