This actually makes me wonder more about the writer of the column and/or the person who sent in the question. I wonder how many dudes answered "No way!" but the paper chose to run the creepers' answers.

Also, I think this is closer to 1960. My dad had glasses very much like Mr. Gallei's when he was in high school, which would've been a little later than the mid-'50s.
