I don't want to criticize such a sincere and well-articulated comment and I do agree with the gist of it. However, there is a reason why the feminine gay man and the butch lesbian are stereotypes: there are an awful lot who fall into that category. While saying that manly men can be homosexual is a good thing, it is also valuable to state that those who fall into the more feminine category are just as worthy of acceptance.
