As a lifelong basketball fan and a player through high school (and a coach to this day), my parents took me to many NBA games as a kid. My mother, who also coached many of my teams, would stand up and boo every time the cheerleaders would do their "routine". Usually, people would turn around and stare and then slowly you would see other women start nodding and...booing right along! Love my momma.

True story- my mom's basketball god is Larry Bird. The one time she got to meet him, she told him in a 5 minute, beautifully articulated, well reasoned as only a mom can lecture why the Pacemates offend female fans, particularly those with daughters who play the game. Again, love my momma. She rocks.
