Always-adorable Abigail Breslin has given a video interview to Premiere to promote her new movie, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. Apparently the preteen actress had her pick of the movie's wardrobe department but what did she choose to take home? The overalls. Young Hollywood: Keeping it real. [Premiere]
Please people with kids out there RUN to theater and support this movie. I know all about the wah wahs on the capitalist pigs the American Girls are - they actually created the "dolls that look like you" in response to numerous complaints from people of different ethnic backgrounds than the 5 white and 1 black doll they carried and hit money heaven with it.
This story and the others American Girl tells is about a strong little chick within a tumultuous time in American history and since Bush decided kids should no longer be smart - family films with history themes are incredibly important.
This girl is adorable and such a fresh change from the usual Hollywood nonsense.
