Selfie, the ABC sitcom that has been described by watchers as "pretty good, actually" and "not as bad as I thought it would be," is the latest sitcom from the fall lineup to get canceled after its first season: its death is preceded by Manhattan Love Story (ABC), Bad Judge (NBC) and A to Z (NBC).

Selfie was loosely based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and starred the ever-charismatic John Cho and very funny Karen Gillan as an updated version of Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle on their quest to fix each other's flaws. While early marketing made the show look terrible, the series was by all accounts pretty cute and engaging. It's a shame Selfie was burdened with that damn awful title, because now we'll never know what could have been.
