A year later than it was scheduled to be lit (delayed due to inclement weather), a Wilshire-based light artist flipped the switch on a dome full of colorful fiberoptic lights atop a huge hill, creating what BBC News calls "a giant breast." The installation is a tribute to his friend who passed away of breast cancer, in support of the UK charity Cancerkin.
