A West Scranton woman was arrested for allegedly shouting profanities at an overflowing toilet inside her home. Dawn Herb, whose, heh, "potty mouth" caught the attention of an off-duty police officer, could face up to 90 days in jail and a $300 fine. "It doesn't make any sense," Ms. Herb says. "I was in my house. It's not like I was outside or drunk." Yeah, it's crazy. We're thankful that cop can't hear us right now, 'cuz we're all, "Fuck this fucking fucked up bullshit." [Say Anything]
A couple of years ago, the courts in Michigan struck down a law that made it illegal to curse in front of women and children. It was a 105 year-old law and hadn't been enforced for years, but then a canoeist was charged and the courts were given jurisdiction.
IOW: Just because she was charged, it doesn't mean that she's convicted.
