A Jem And the Holograms Movie is Coming. Who Should Play Jem?

Over in Hollywood, John Chu, the director of G.I. Joe, and Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun are producing a contemporary spin on the 1980s cartoon Jem and the Holograms. I know, right?!

Aside from the fact that Braun arguably has bigger fish to fry than a Jem re-make — Is Beiber out of the woods? Is he still the Great Canadian Disappointment? — the trio have asked us, the potential audience, in the clip above who we think should play Jem and the Holograms? Seeing as Braun’s crew instructed us to share our answers with the hashtag #jemthemovie over on the film’s less than exciting Tumblr, I figured we should ask you fine folks for your opinions. My knee-jerk reaction says P!nk would be a good Jem, but I guess the casting doesn’t have to be so literal. Also, Taylor Swift is not allowed in this thread. You have been warned. GO!
