A Few Select Quotes From Bristol Palin's Tell-All Book

Latest

The revelations coming from Bristol Palin’s upcoming memoir, Not Afraid Of Life — My Journey So Far, are simply delightful. Let’s start with the obvious “reveal:” many of her Dancing With The Stars costars refused to speak to her throughout filming. Yeah, well, we could feel the icy demeanor through our televisions, so we’re not surprised. On to the good stuff!

Bristol discusses first meeting John McCain and his family, and how Meghan McCain made Bristol feel like she “might need to watch her back” after she “ignored us during the entire visit.” As for Cindy McCain, this was Bristol’s first reaction:

“[Cindy] looks like a queen and holds herself like royalty — I’ve never seen people with so much Louis Vutton luggage, so many cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup.”

As for when Cindy offered to be godmother to her then-unborn baby Tripp, Bristol was just as weirded out as the rest of us: “I had just met her and I wondered why she wanted any type of guardianship over my child.”

From there, the stories about her romance with Levi and subsequent pregnancy show a cruel and unattractive side to Levi. When Bristol told her boyfriend she was pregnant, he supposedly responded with, “Better be a fucking boy.” Nice. The most amusing quote (to us, anyway) about Levi that we’ve seen thus far is probably this one, as Bristol recalls giving birth in the delivery room:

“Doctors tried to hand Levi the scissors to ‘cut the cord’ but he backed away. He said it was too gross, an odd statement since he’s been able to field a moose with one arm tied behind his back.”
