Important Question: Is Jewel Playing June Carter Cash or Not?

Remember when Alaskan songbird Jewel was set to portray June Carter Cash in The June Carter Cash Story, a Lifetime original movie based on John Carter Cash’s memoir Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash? Neither do I, WTF WORLD? But here’s a screenshot from the movie. I’ve been searching but I can’t really find any info about it published after last June? Lifetime’s search reveals none of its secrets and I must know, this is sure to be/was the best thing since Liz and Dick. Why don’t we all know everything about this all the time? I am disgusted with you, me, and the rest of humanity.
