8th Grade Math Teacher Says Obama's Win Means She'll Have to Keep Paying for Her Students' Food Stamps

Sharon Hailey Aceta, an 8th grade math teacher at Rawlinson Road Middle School in Rock Hill, South Carolina, posted a sarcastic and highly inappropriate Facebook status update after Obama won a second term as President earlier this week:

“Congrats Obama. As one of my students sang down the hallway, ‘We get to keep our fooood stamps’…which I pay for because they can’t budget their money…and really, neither can you.”

She’s since deleted her status, but a tipster from the area said the screen shot is circulating around the community and that the school refuses to address it or contact parents who are upset. The administration is probably hoping the controversy will pass soon, since Rock Hill is a conservative place. Healthy learning environment, right?
