Basketball Wives' Tami Gets a Weight-loss Endorsement Deal

If you don’t watch Basketball Wives, maybe you remember Tami Roman from when she was on the second season of The Real World 19 years ago. (You know: “It wasn’t not funny!”) Anyway, back then, one of Tami’s more notable storylines was when she had her jaw wired shut as a crash dieting method. We spoke to Tami about that and her admitted eating disorders when she first joined the cast of Basketball Wives two years ago. She was really candid about thinking that she “wasn’t skinny enough” since she was a child.

Now Tami is getting paid to lose weight from an appetite suppressant company. The deal is supposedly in the “mid-six figures.”
