Groveling for daily gruel, Oliver Twist-style, is not generally a cat’s prerogative, which makes this grey, huge-eyed specimen very special. Not to mention polite! When my cat is hungry, she just pokes me in the face, then goes “Fuck you” and skulks away to wreak havoc on whatever seasonal chotchkes are sitting on my desk at the time. (The small gourds and pumpkins adorning it right now are not long for this world.)
