Susan Sarandon’s Favorite Movie Is Mitt Romney’s Campaign

CelebritiesNews

As a baseball expert, outlaw, and nun, Susan Sarandon knows a little bit about all the important things that exist in the world, which is why it’s always nice to hear from her, even if it’s just so she can remind us that Mitt Romney’s politico shtick of slipping on banana peels while Paul Ryan punctuates each fall with a “waka waka” is consistently hilarious. Speaking to Current TV host Joy Behar, Sarandon explained, in so many words, that the Romney presidential campaign is providing hours of free entertainment for her:

I’m so entertained. I’m very happy that he’s so entertaining. I don’t know if it’s going to cost him. I think a lot of people agree with him in seeing things that way. I guess it’ll mostly affect the swing voters. And I think it’s an interesting few days on the campaign trail to see how he deals with that. But I don’t think that was really new information.

When Behar then added that Romney’s now-infamous “47 percent” comment “made him look like Scrooge, Sarandon couldn’t help but concur:

But I think that’s what he is. But I don’t think – listening to, you know, where he wants to spend his money, that he was very interested in education or the elderly and I mean a lot of the people he’s talking about pay taxes so I don’t know what he’s thinking.

To be fair, not even Peggy Noonan seems to know what the Mittens 4 Prez campaign is thinking anymore, but at least this much is for sure: a cat named Mittens would probably run a more competitive campaign at this point than the human Mittens is running.
