Yet Another Dog Caught in an Existential Mirror Crisis

First: I have had the good fortune of house and dog sitting for someone who has a papillon and let me assure you that they are very agreeable little creatures, which is why this video should be all the more distressing. How patronizing can this dog’s guardian be? Not only must she film the papillon’s mirror crisis (“Is it me? Is it a long-lost brother or sister from the litter? Is it another me in a backwards dimension trying to tear through time and space and eat into my reality?”), but she has the nerve to ask the rhetorical question, “Who is it?” The papillon at one point seems to understand the question and emit a bark that sounds, more or less, like a frantic, “I don’t know!”
