A two-year-old boy in Mexico is much lighter on his feet these days after doctors removed a human-sized tumor from his side. During a 10 hour surgery, doctors in Mexico City were able to completely remove the 33-pound tumor (seen above). The boy, who's from the northern state of Durango, weighs only 26 pounds. The massive tumor began as a small lump at birth but soon grew to cover the right side of the boy's body, stretching from his hip to his armpit. (Commence frantically checking yourself and your whole family for small lumps that look suspicious.) This is the first time doctors in Mexico have ever removed a tumor that was larger than the person it was attached too. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and the boy is now doing well. He's got to be happy not to have to carry around the weight of a whole second person everywhere he goes.
