On March 7, 23-year-old Justin Alesna went into a Detroit gas station to buy cigarettes. He left, instead, with a fractured skull—thanks to a hateful, gay-bashing stranger. Justin begged for help. Nobody listened. Here, he tells his story.

Why did I post this video? Why should you pass it on? It’s simple: untold hate crimes occur every day across this country—not to mention the rest of the world—and, more often than not, the victims of these attacks remain anonymous.
