A flight attendant on the Australian airline Virgin Blue has been fired after allegedly locking a child in an overhead bin. Virgin says the boy was playing peek-a-boo with his father and the flight attendant tried to join in by picking him up and putting him in the locker. Natalie Williamson, the boy's mother, says she turned down the airline's offer of three free flights because she was "absolutely devastated," by the incident. "I was crying. My husband was in shock. For days on end I was crying." She claims that due to the flight attendant's misguided attempt to be playful, the boy is now suffering from anxiety and withdrawal.
