Woman Finds Son Playing With Alligator Behind Couch

Yesterday a Brazilian woman was cleaning up her home after a flood when she noticed her 3-year-old son playing with something behind the couch. She went to investigate and realized he was patting a 5-foot alligator, which had been washed into her home by the high water. The woman grabbed her son and called firefighters, who trapped the gator and set it free at an animal preserve. The fire captain says she’s just lucky her son’s new friend wasn’t hungry.
