It was when Miss Stacy Lane Matthews, from Back Swamp, North Carolina, won the respect of her peers, and went from being (in their eyes) a plus-size hick to real competition. This inspired Mariah to speak eloquently about the culture, contributions, historical impact and marginalization of drag. You better work!
