The Transportation Security Administration has reportedly issued a new set of travel restrictions for all air passengers flying into the United States after a suspect attempted to detonate an explosive device during a transatlantic flight between Amsterdam and Detroit yesterday.

According to the New York Times, the new restrictions include denying passengers the right to leave their seats, use electronic devices, or access their carry-on luggage during the final hour of flight. The restrictions were posted earlier today on Air Canada's website; an official statement from the TSA has not been released at this time. [NYTimes]
