In a radio and television address to the nation last night, Pakistani Prime Minister Gilani, stated that the government would summon the military to quell militancy and terrorists in Swat and the Malakand, thus continuing army operations against the Taliban. Hundreds of thousands of people are believed to be displaced as a result of these military operations.
