British designer Matthew Williamson is known for making beautiful clothes drenched in color and his collection for Spring 2009 certainly delivered: There was juicy apricot, fresh-squeezed lime, and intense Jolly Rancher hot pink. But there were also soft, minty pastels and easy, palette-cleansing neutrals. And the cut of each garment told the same story: Here is a woman who's strong, smart and not afraid to steal the spotlight.
