This month a couple of interesting ads float up from the sea of heteronormativity that is the women's magazine. The new Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign, appearing in Lucky and elsewhere, features male model Cole Mohr in a variety of rather cute frocks. Missoni also plays with gender in its spread in this month's Elle — see it, and one unfortunately familiar pose, by clicking on the dude in the dress.

On the left, a pretty woman in a complicated shawl sneaks home from a party late at night. And on the right, it looks like her pissed-off girlfriend has been waiting up with a plate of spaghetti. If shawl-girl is as guilty as she looks, that spaghetti is about to fly right at her head.
