Though I'm sure the creators of this vintage underwear ad intended for consumers to clip out the tiny underpants and try them on the paper doll, I can't help but wonder how many people took the instructions literally. [VintageAds]
When I was younger, I had the misconception that it was 1949 and not 1994 and often did things like play jacks. I had a massive collection of paper dolls and spent hours painstakingly cutting out their clothes, careful not to nip the tiny tab that enabled the clothes to be worn. I hope I am not the only one who appreciates paper dolls. I will be sad if girls only play with Bratz.
