Chilean tourists joke as they queue for information at a counter of the airline LanChile, at Tom Jobin international airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on March 1, 2010 three day after a huge 8.8-magnitude earthquake rocked their country and killed at least 711 people. Chile's international airport is not expected to reopen until Tuesday at the earliest, due to quake damage, although some commercial planes have been landing under 'exceptional circumstances,' authorities here said. The South American nation has been hit by numerous aftershocks, some reaching over 6 points on the Richter scale, as well as heavy damages in coastal towns resulting from subsequent tsunamis. This is inconsequential, but Rio's airport is named after Tom Jobim? Did not know. I thought it was awesome flying into the Louis Armstrong Airport in NOLA.
