Please Give Trailer: Guilt, Aging, And Real Estate

There is finally a trailer for Please Give, Nicole Holofcener's Sundance-lauded showcase of some very fine actresses (including Catherine Keener, Rebecca Hall, Amanda Peet) playing some very imperfect characters.

Visible here is Holofcener's particular aesthetic: raw and unsparing, but ultimately chatty and affectionate. Please Give will also be at the Tribeca Film Festival next month before opening to wider release.

I saw this trailer yesterday (when I went to see [whisper]Remember Me[/whisper]), and it looks really good. I liked Friends with Money and Lovely and Amazing a lot. Holofcener definitely has a POV and sensibility that is immediately recognizable, though she doesn't make the same movies over and over.
