Heh. Reminds me of when I was showing one of those to my grade 5 students.

One of the boys in the class (who only had one functioning kidney) asked to see where the kidneys where. As I was pulling all the pieces out (they're in the very back) one other kid blurted out "Those two balls down by my weiner, are those my kidneys?"

I swear you could see the wheels in my brain stop, back up, and move forward again.

"Um, no." I answered.

"What are they then?" kid replied.

"They're called your testicles."

"Oh? What do they do?"

(Sex ed doesn't start until Grade 6.)

"Um, I think you should probably go home and ask your mother about that."

I gave his Mom a call after to school (I knew his Mom rather well, as this was my second year teaching this kid.) so she would be prepared. She laughed and laughed.
