This is the worst time of the year to watch commercials if you're trying to avoid feeling bad about your body. So many companies prey on our insecurities and newly made resolutions to lose weight or live healthier. Take the ad above from Subway; apparently, someone at the company's ad agency decided it was a good idea to tell women that ordering a cheeseburger meal could result in "a loss of self-esteem, loss of boyfriend, shame, and years of therapy." Also, we're not positive, but we're pretty damn sure that the actress in that commercial is Vanessa Marquez, a one time series regular on ER who was on an episode of Intervention for a host of mental health problems, like a shopping addiction, agoraphobia, and OCD.
