It’s been over a year since Leah Remini’s A&E docuseries on Scientology was announced, but the first trailer hints at something that was worth the wait.

Remini’s memoir Troublemaker was published in 2015, and revealed lots of personal anecdotes about interacting with high-ranking celebrity members of the church. It looks like Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath will explore the darker aspects of the Scientology’s influence on its members and the crimes it allegedly covers up, including unreported statutory rape, physical attacks from David Miscavige, losing money within the church’s pyramid scheme structure, forced abortions, and other abuses.

In a statement to ET Online, Remini promises exciting reveals throughout the series:

This series is about sharing the truth about Scientology. Truth born out of very personal experiences. Truth that is shocking, things I did not expect to find when I embarked on the journey of making these shows.

Even though I had been a member of the Church for a long time, I was stunned by some of the things I learned. There is a lot more to this story than anyone knows. And this series is breaking ground in bringing that information to light.

Within the trailer, Remini urges viewers (and presumably nascent Scientology members) to “fight for your family, fight for your daughters, your sons...Wake up.”

Stop with the auto play ads! Please! I can’t surf Jezebel at work any more cause the damn ads play by themselves.

Yeah, yeah, I know work and the internet but I need something to entertain me a bit during the day.

I can’t put my computer on mute as I need the volume on to do my job. :(
