Vegan YouTube Drama Update: Freelee Isn't Sorry

Following this morning’s investigation into the hurtful drama that is reportedly destroying the vegan YouTube community, Freelee the Banana Girl has published a new video. I figured everyone would want to be up-to-date on this.

This video is titled “Tana is right, I’m a mean b*tch & I made this girl cry.” From this, one might think that Freelee is apologizing. (In case you’re a reasonable person and not aware of the vegans currently at each other’s throats across the internet—Freelee the Banana Girl, who promotes eating an extremely, extremely high quantity of raw fruit per day, has been accused of “bullying” several other vegan YouTube stars, including one Tana Mongeau, age 17.) But one would be wrong.

Freelee isn’t sorry and doesn’t think Tana is right, she just gave her video that title so people would click on it. The video stars a person named Lily, of YouTube channel Legit Nutrition Hawaii. Freelee did make Lily cry, but that is because she loves Freelee so much. “Frelee is the reason that I survived my naturopath,” Lily says, eyes burning with passion, after telling a frankly distressing story about her pre-Freelee suicidal tendencies.

“It was people like Cassey [Freelee was recently accused on of bullying Cassey Ho of Blogilates] who kept me sick as long as I was. They spout bullshit that doesn’t work for them, that won’t work for their followers,” Lily fumes.

Have an excellent evening, everyone.
