It’s no different than saying “I’d like cage fighters to attend poetry slams and make lovely flower arrangements in their downtime”. It’s a violent sport played by men whose entire lives have centered around it since puberty. Every single NFL player was, at one time or another, the “big man on campus” somewhere. They never had to learn how to relate to other people, they were good at football and that was all that ever mattered. They’ve had everything handed to them in exchange for playing football: a free education, housing, food, mountains of drugs, women, money, adulation and etc. The “culture” is never going to “change”, it is what it is. Either abandon the NFL altogether or accept the fact that the game and those who play it are wildly dysfunctional gladiators, because the majority of those who play it can’t even spell enlightenment much less experience it.
