You’d think a person like Raven-Symoné would try to find fellowship with other uniquely named black people, but no, Raven-Symoné is not a friend to us and must be exiled.
Do you know Raven-Symoné’s last name? Probably not, because Raven-Symoné is a name that stands on its own, a name meant to garner attention. A name that in addition to an extraneous dash also has an accent mark to make it extra different, as many people have pointed out.
“What is wrong with Raven-Symoné?” isn’t even a question worth asking anymore. The only solution is to send her away. Let’s simply present the facts, which are that Raven-Symoné made a comment on Thursday’s episode of The View, after the panel showed a stupid viral video featuring a list of the 60 “most ghetto names” (which included names like Que’Shayda).
Raven-Symoné says in the above clip:
“...I am very discriminatory against words like the ones that they were saying in those names. I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to hire you.”
Now watch as Lolo Jones joins in on the backlash.
Please, both of you leave.
