During an April 20 (so long ago!) episode of her podcast I Seem Fun, comedian Jen Kirkman—known best for her no bullshit presence on Twitter and her appearances on Chelsea Lately and Drunk History—brought up an exceedingly famous male standup comic who has a long history of being gross with women that no one in the industry is willing to talk about. Hm, wonder who that could be?

Though the podcast episode is a month and a half old, Kirkman’s comments are currently making the rounds after they were unearthed by Death and Taxes over the weekend. While she doesn’t call out the comedian by name, her description of him heavily implies that she’s talking about auteur renaissance man and alleged lover of masturbating in front of young female stand-ups, Louis C.K.

As Kirkman tells it on the “Bitch, We’re All Madonna” episode of I Seem Fun:

And then I had another guy who is a very famous comic. He is probably at Cosby level at this point. He is lauded as a genius. He is basically a French filmmaker at this point. You know, new material every year. He’s a known perv. And there’s a lockdown on talking about him. His guy friends are standing by him, and you cannot say a bad thing about him. And I’ve been told by people “Well then say it then. Say it if it’s true.” If I say it, my career is over. My manager and my agent have told me that. They didn’t threaten it. They just said to me “You know what Jen, it’s not worth it because you’ll be torn apart. Look at the Cosby women.” And this guy didn’t rape me, but he made a certain difficult decision to go on tour with him really hard. Because I knew if I did, I’d be getting more of the same weird treatment I’d been getting from him. And it was really fucked up, and this person was married. So it was not good, and so I hold a lot of resentment.

As of yesterday, the podcast episode has been taken down without explanation. You can still hear it at Death and Taxes.

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay—who’s currently getting divorced from Law & Order: SVU actress Stephanie March—got an unwelcome surprise when unveiling his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday when his speech was interrupted when a prop plane began circling the area, dragging behind it a banner reading “CHEATER.” (Flay allegedly has a long history of infidelity.) March wins this round. [E! Online]

Chet Haze is allowed to use the n-word, according the Chet Haze. The frat boy rapper and son of Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks recently made a video to defend himself after receiving backlash for using the phrase “my nigga” in an Instagram post. “Hip-hop isn’t about race. It’s about the culture you identify with,” the Northwestern alum stated. “And can’t no one tell me what I can’t say.”

Haze’s comments have at least inspired dialogue. Over on TMZ, they even have a poll asking “Is the N-word Chet’s right?” which is sure to end well. [TMZ]
