Bob Hoskins, your favorite gumshoe detective from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, has passed away.
Survived by his wife Linda and four children Alex, Sarah, Rosa and Jack, the family collectively released a statement, according to USA Today, saying: “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob."
The actor was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2012, when he retired from acting, and died on Wednesday in a hospital after fighting pneumonia.
In addition to Roger Rabbit, Hoskins conquered a diverse bevy of roles in numerous films including Pink Floyd The Wall, Mona Lisa, Hook and the British gangster classic, The Long Good Friday.
