Congratulations are in order for Donna Tartt, whose 784-page book, The Goldfinch, a "beautifully written coming-of-age novel with exquisitely drawn characters," has just been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Raise your hand if you've read it.

DISCUSSION
I bought it but I still haven't started it. The Secret History is one of my all-time favorite books, and the first book I ever immediately started re-reading as soon as I finished. Then I read The Little Friend and was super disappointed. So I think I've just been nervous to read The Goldfinch because of that.
