The theme of Betsey Johnson's fall-winter '14 collection is "hot," and hot it most certainly was (apparently, the show started late because it had been held for a tardy Paris Hilton, 2000s-era patron saint of the phrase "that's hot).
Johnson says her collection was designed for a rock 'n roll girl in all of us; it was inspired by the late '70s-early 80's disco era. Sequins, bright metallic hues, thigh-highs, short hemlines and giant faux fur coats abounded — the aesthetic, overall, was very Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century meets Pretty Woman.

DISCUSSION
I thought Betsey Johnson was the coolest when I was a teenager in the early 90's. Forgive my fashion ignorance, but is her stuff supposed to be worn by anyone other than (rather wealthy) teenagers? I just don't get it. I look at this stuff and I just think of Edina Monsoon.
