13-Year-Old Phenom Mo'ne Davis Drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters

Latest

At just 13 years old, Mo’ne Davis is officially a Harlem Globetrotter.

Davis been chosen as part of the exhibition team’s ninth annual draft, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, which will allow her to play with Harlem’s own whenever she wants after she graduates from college. But right now, she’s still an eighth grader.

Mo’ne is the third female in history to be drafted by the Globetrotters and grabbed the spotlight in 2014 by becoming the first girl to pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series. Still, basketball is her favorite sport and she’s already joined the varsity team of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy high school. LeBron James should probably watch his back, his front and all of his endorsement contracts.
