10 Things You May Have Missed On TV This Week

Latest

In this week’s compilation of pop culture crap, Rosie and Oprah take tequila shots, Wendy Williams and Tyra Banks are girlfriends, and a look at Portlandia‘s second season.

1.) Rosie and Oprah do tequila shots.
I don’t know what’s more disturbing about this clip: that Oprah is an expert at taking tequila shots, or Rosie O’Donnell had never done it before?

2.) Kathie Lee insults Sammi and Deena.
Kathie Lee Gifford made her true feelings known about the Jersey Shore cast when she referred to it as the “Jersey Sore” and said that she couldn’t tell any of the dudes on the show apart.

3.) Stephen Colbert to Chris Martin: “Fuck you.”
I also appreciate Stephen’s concerns that Martin’s courting of Gwyneth Paltrow is a “job an American wanted to do.”

4.) Up All Night ‘s birthing scene.
Christina Applegate’s character has planned a natural birth, but when she takes an epidural, winds up singing Live’s “Lightning Crashes.”

5.) Kal Penn and John Cho present June Foray with the Comic Con Icon Award.
94-year-old Foray is the voice of Rocky, Looney Tunes‘ Granny, Cindy Lou Who, Talking Tina, one of the Smurfs and more. Aw!

6.) Peter Dinklage’s magic, giant head.
Yes, the above clip is from the very same awards show — Spike TV’s “Scream Awards” — and you should know that 98% of the show went something like this.

7.) Jay Mohr does an impression of Christopher Walken doing an impression of Andy Cohen.
Did your head just explode?

8.) Nick Kroll, incredible liar.
I don’t normally watch The Leauge because ick, boy shows! They do, however, have some pretty stellar comedians in the cast. Here’s Nick Kroll, explaining the key to lying.

9.) Tyra Banks and Wendy Williams talk body hair.
These are the topics that come up when two of my all-favorite daytime talk show hosts get together: legs, shoes, and Taco Bell. Tyra, won’t you please bring Tyra back?

10.) Family Feud‘s mildy-inappropriate category.
A penis! Why, what comes to your mind when someone asks you to name “something that you put in your mouth and don’t swallow?”

Bonus: First look at Portlandia, season two!
Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are back to their usual shenanigans in the new season of Portlandia, which will return to your TV in January.
