Will there be an age limit for drugs? What sort of regulations for working and driving? Is it cool if I take this bump and then perform open heart surgery or can we go ahead and make some restrictions which will, gasp!, incite more curiousity.

I don't care how intelligent someone is - if they deal drugs, especially in such large amounts, they are fucking stupid. The consequences aren't worth it and there should be consequences.

Well the only answer for that is that they did not know that person well or the demons they were facing. Remember we only know the sides of people they show us, so anyone who says plenty of happy people become drug addicts needs to reexamine the world around them. I should also point out that there are different types of mentally unstable, very few serial killers have been drug addicts just as there are people with low self-esteem who never become drug addicts (although I would guess most people who became drug addicts had low self-esteem). There is way too much that goes into addiction than to just say anyone can be an addict.

Her group of friends party in Vegas ALL the time, and she is the only one out of her group of girlfriends that doesn't do coke, x, pot, etc. Once when they were at a club in Vegas one of her friends rubbed coke all over her lips while they were both drunk. When she told me we both thought it was HILARIOUS, but probably most people wouldn't...so ya.

SDSU is weird. It's actually pretty hard to get into these days- you have to have like at least a 3.3, 3.5 and pretty good SATs, yet once kids get there, eerrggh.

Anyway, yeah, people who like to party in SoCal and have to $$ can get good coke. Not a big surprise on that one.

My point is that we should take a moment to look at the root of why this stuff happens and the unintended consequences. Things like this happen because of the nation's failed drug policy. Losing aid is just one unintended consequence and it's going to affect these students in a dire way. No one will be better for it in the end.

That having been said, money buys you love in the criminal justice system. With a private attorney you can get to the DA and affect the charging decision. The right to court appointed counsel attaches only after one is charged and is arraigned on the charges.
