It was a piece of Christian Dior lingerie in a fancy store window in 1986 or 7. It cost $150 and I was making $3.25 at the muffin place. My mother forbade me to buy something so stupid. I waited, it went on sale for $75 (who else would buy that??), and then I bought it.

Though I think it was meant to be worn under a wedding dress, I would wear it with a mint green sweater over top and whatever tights underneath. And boots. Sometimes, I wore my mint-green and grey HORIZONTAL stripes leggins under it.

SO SO SAD. I kept the dress/undergarment as a reminder never to be so retarded again.

I also kept a black and white one piece jump suit with a giant anchor embroidered on the back that I bought around the same time, for $300. It has bands around the ankle.

I'm ashamed.
