While I think Jeanette's fascination is a bit overwhelming, she couldn't pick a better idol - I bet Dolly is wonderful to her every time they meet.

I got to "meet" Dolly. (Stand in line for an hour to snap a picture and listen to her laugh.)

Jeanette is just one example of the several I met while working that summer. There are lots of women with bleached hair, Dale Earnhart charms, and airbrushed tees that just know the world is a lot better because Dolly's in it (and aren't afraid to tell you).

I think my favorite part of this clip -- I have too many in the movie itself -- is when Jeanette talks about still living with her mom. And the awesome early-90's hair/pants. It's like she's into NKOTB, but instead it's Aunt Granny's biggest fan!
